Walking the Path Together

Integrative Therapy for
Meaningful change

Welcome! I’m Laura McLaughlin, a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Edmonton, Alberta, offering therapy for individuals seeking healing, clarity, and connection—whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, or simply longing to feel more balanced and alive.

I offer both in-person sessions in Edmonton and online therapy across Alberta and Nunavut for teens and adults.

Together, we’ll come into a compassionate, safe space to explore your experiences and emotions, uncover patterns, build coping skills, and move toward the life you want to live.

Curious About Starting Therapy?

I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see if we’re a good fit to work together. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation—simply a space to connect and explore next steps.

How can counselling help?

Sometimes life feels heavy—painful experiences, loss, or change can leave us feeling disconnected, anxious, or unsure of ourselves. Counselling offers a space to slow down, be seen, and find understanding.

It’s not about “fixing” you—it’s about rediscovering the parts of you that already know how to heal.

Therapy can help you:

  • Understand and regulate your emotions

  • Develop self-compassion and confidence

  • Work through trauma, grief, or stress

  • Strengthen your relationships and boundaries

  • Create new meaning and direction in your life

Whether you’re looking for relief, clarity, or growth, counselling can help you come home to yourself—one step, one breath, one conversation at a time.

My Approach

As a therapist, I see our work together as a collaborative and empowering process—one rooted in curiosity, compassion, and authenticity.

I believe that people are their own healers. My role is to walk beside you as a guide and witness, helping you reconnect with your innate wisdom and capacity to heal.

Together, we’ll explore your emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and patterns with openness and care—creating new understandings and building tools for coping, growth, and meaningful change.

My approach is holistic and present-focused, helping you:

  • Deepen your relationship with yourself and your experiences

  • Uncover and transform old patterns

  • Connect with your values and purpose

  • Build emotional regulation and resilience

  • Reclaim a sense of vitality and wholeness

Therapy, to me, is an act of co-creation—a safe, compassionate space where we uncover what truly matters to you and help you live in alignment with your values and dreams.

I take an integrative and client-centred approach, blending evidence-based methods with a respect for your unique story and inner knowing.
